Oath Pizza

This Mosaic District outpost (part of a Boston-based chain) is informal and fast-casual with minimalist décor—but upscale in flavor. Oath is serious about its ingredients and caters to a yuppie palate with fancy toppings like truffle oil, sriracha, Grana Padano cheese, pickled red onions and spicy aioli, often in unusual combinations. The thin crust gets its flavor from being grilled and seared in avocado oil. Try The David, made with mozzarella, balsamic vinegar, roasted mushrooms, ricotta, sweet Italian sausage and fresh basil. Or the Bella, a similar pie that swaps out the meat and mushrooms for cherry tomatoes and roasted garlic. (Kids and less-adventurous eaters can also order plain cheese, pepperoni or sausage.) Although the standard pizzas are 11 inches, you can order a half if you don’t want to take home leftovers.
